SEBADOH "Soul & Fire" 7"
Recorded live onto a TDK C90 tape from the steps of the Rough Trade shop, this is a Walkman recording of the first ever live appearance of Sebadoh on UK shores, a warts'n'all document of them crammed in behind the counter of a ram-packed basement record shop in Covent Garden for a hot, hot lunchtime appearance in August 1992. It's not the cleanest recording you'll ever hear, but seeing as Eric and Lou pretty much invented the term "Lo-Fi" I'd assume most 'Doh heads will appreciate the vibe.
150 copies only available to the public. Hand cut discs, hand assembled and numbered sleeves, hand recorded audio, this is pretty much as DIY as it gets. Only available through 3.45RPM. Distro companies are for corporate sell-outs.

THE INSEKTLIFE CYCLE "Temple Of The Soul" LP
Mighty Manilian eruptions from the heart of the Psychedelic Philippines, The InsektLife Cycle offer up four sumptuous 10 min 2 sec long jams, recorded on simple 4-track cassette in a three hour session, but sounding like they've spent a few years on some Jovian satellite perfecting the art of acid fried stoner wig-outs.

MAP 71 "Blood Fruit" LP
Weird, wired, and worldly rhythms overlayed by enchantingly unsettling and abstract narratives, MAP 71 make smoothly awkward sounds which can serve as drifting background ambience or conversely as attention grabbing earworms. Experimentation that goes consistently right.
Edition of 53 copies, released on the decidely unothodox Gardener's Delight label.
